EasyCar.com was launched in April 2000 by Stelios, founder of easyJet.com and Chairman of the easyGroup. EasyCar is now one of the leading international car rental brokers with a worldwide network of more than 2,400 car hire locations in over 60 countries.

After completing work on streamlining the EasyCar.com booking funnel, I worked with the development team at Simple Thinking to increase traffic to the redesigned site. I created a Flash advertising unit in Actionscript 3.0 which enables users on EasyCar affiliate sites to obtain quick quotes. The advertising banner sends search requests to a C#.net webservice and parses XML resultsets. Rental cars matching the customer's criteria are displayed in an interactive carousel with direct clickthrough links to the EasyCar.com website.
